Hugo and Jean Becker Golden Heart Award
This recipient of the Golden Heart Award is someone in the community who demonstrates enthusi-asm, empathy, courtesy, and kindness to all who she or he meets. This person represents a true example of a Good Samaritan. The recipient has strong character, positive attitudes, and zest for life. The recipient’s willingness to go the extra mile to help others, without hesitation, is strongly evident.
Prince & Cora Mack Humanitarian Award
The recipient of the Humanitarian Award strongly advocates for change. The person works tirelessly to improve the quality of life for others. This individual seeks freedom and justice for people across the lifespan. The awardee raises awareness of social and political issues that hinder opportunities for people to grow and succeed, and helps to empower others to act for themselves.
L.E.A.D. Award (Leadership, Education, Awareness, & Diversity)
The L.E.A.D. Award is given to a non-profit organization or agency, a small or large company or business, or a profit-making enterprise that serves the community in an outstanding way. Its existence and operation improve the economic, educational, and environmental quality of life of others by its leadership and awareness of problems or solutions. The recipient demonstrates efforts to increase diversity in its employees or members, as well as patronizes a culturally diverse population.
